My story

Meet Cosmo, a cute and easygoing 3 y/o, 15 lb chi mix.  Background: Cosmo was brought in with two chi friends after being abandoned and forced to live on the streets. They were fed by neighbors for almost a year before we were called to help.   Personality: Cosmo is a little shy meeting new people but warms up quickly. He is sweet, calm, and gets along with all people and dogs of all sizes. He loves belly rubs, snuggling up on his favorite humans, and playing with chew toys. Health: Cosmo is up to date on all vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. At some point, Cosmo may have been hit by a car, fracturing his leg. He has a little limp now, but the injury is healed and it doesn’t slow him down.   Training: Cosmo is house-trained, crate-trained, and uses a dog door.  Ideal Home: Cosmo would love a doting family who will care for him the way every dog deserves, inside a comfortable and loving home. Cosmo enjoys the company of other dogs and would enjoy a companion, but would likely do just fine as an only pet. A secure, fenced-in yard is required to keep him safe.  Adoption Requirements: Cosmo’s adoption fee is $350.
