My story

Maxx is a darling, sweet boy who will win your heart over as soon as you meet him. He is a poodle mix who we believe has some Maltese in him. He’s Tall and handsome! He currently weighs about 11 lbs But he could stand to gain a little bit of weight. Extremely playful with other dogs and would love another dog, similar in size and age to play with. Maxx Is between one and two years old. He is non-shedding and just the happiest, most delightful dog you could imagine He is ready to melt your heart and brighten the mood in your home. He is neutered and current on vaccines and microchipped as well. Like many of our rescue dogs, we are not sure how well potty trained Maxx is. But with gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise he should be easy to train. Maxx is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Maxx’s adoption fee is $400 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest.
