Monty & Mac (Bonded Pair)

My story

Monty and Mac are a bonded pair of Schnauzers who came into rescue as strays. We were sure they had an owner but they were never claimed. They are believed to be father and son with Mac being the older at 6 yrs and Monty approximately 3. They are the nicest, sweetest boys. They get along with all dogs and all people. They are respectful and well mannered. Mac weighs 21 lbs and Monty weighs 19. They are on the tall side for miniatures. They seem to be acclimated to living indoors but are intimidated by all of the other dogs at the rescue. They will make amazing pets for almost any family. They are loyal, protective, affectionate and respectful. They are fully vetted including microchips, neuter and all vaccinations. Mac has had a complete dental cleaning and had numerous extractions. Monty and Mac are coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Monty and Mac’s combined adoption fee is $800 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest.
