My story

Ivan is an adorable Lhasa poo who is 1-2 years old but still very much a puppy! He is soft and cuddly and loves to play. He walks on a leash and likes car rides! He loves everyone and gets along with most other dogs. He was just neutered so still has a bit of testosterone and can sometimes square off with another male who is dominant. He is well mannered and learning the house rules. Ivan is a real people lover and would love an active person or family to call his own! Like many of our rescue dogs, we are not sure how well housetrained Ivan is. But with gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise he should be easy to train. Ivan is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Ivan’s adoption fee is $450 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue! Please understand that sometimes we get numerous applications for specific dogs and as a volunteer-based rescue, we do not always have the time to respond to each one. We do our best to choose the most suitable home for each dog based on their specific personality and needs. Please note you MAY NOT be contacted for up to 10 days to schedule a meet and greet if your family is the most suitable for this rescue dog. Regrettably, we do not have the manpower currently to contact all applicants. We keep ALL applications in our database so please feel free to contact us when you see another dog of interest. We appreciate all applicants and do our best to pair every dog and family for a successful and happy life.
